CME

The Office of Continuing Medical Education, David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

To claim CME credit, please register for and attend the presentation via Zoom webinar. Following the presentation, you will be directed to a survey. Complete this survey to claim your credit. If the survey does not appear, you will be emailed the link to the survey the next day as well.

Physicians: Each live activity has been designated for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Psychologists: The California Board of Psychology recognizes and accepts AMA PRA Category 1 credits as long as the course pertains to the practice of psychology.

Nurses: The California State Board of Registered Nursing accepts courses approved by the AMA for category 1 credit as meeting the continuing education requirements for license renewal.

Social Workers: The California Board of Behavioral Sciences does not approve specific providers. However, it will accept CE hours earned from any regionally accredited or state-approved postsecondary institution. For more information, click here.

Out of State: Psychologists, nurses, and social workers who are licensed in states other than California should inquire with their local State Board for specific continuing education policies.

Attendance records are submitted at the end of each calendar year. CME certificates are then sent to the address on file for each attendee in the spring of the following year, usually around March or April.
